This one is such a treat because I went to google to search for some artwork and there is NOT one mention anywhere online of MEG HINGES - not one - no photos, no blurbs, no nothing. I didn't think it was possible to stump google any more.... I don't know if Meg Hinges is a person or just a band name, but if you like SLOAN or IMPERIAL TEEN you might like Meg Hinges with her/their catchy lyrics and jangly guitar. Ahhhhhh.....
Awww... here, let me fix that for you...
Show us something you love to hate.
I love to hate on the QotD. I answer them sincerely on occasion, but I prefer to blog snipe my answers...
And this isn't a bad question considering I live in earthquake country on a flood plain in the middle of a dry tinder forest at the bottom of a landslide prone hill less than a day and a half's drive from a volcano. And to think - I was all worried about meteor showers and solar flares.I am opposed to ads on anything, especially stuff that's 20 years old and wasn't even that popular then and certainly isn't any more popular now... but I'll take what I can get because stuff from the Jack Rubies is so rare.
It may surprise you to know, and it surprises me that I will admit to owning (and actually listening to) this cassette tape back in 1986, so... Shhh, please don't tell anyone. It's embarrassing.
Actually, it was Poison that finally separated my sister's and my tastes in music. She chose black spandex and big hair, while I ventured towards a more Brit-poppy New Wave style.
This is where we parted musical paths. I mean we still both loved bands like the Clash, INXS and the B-52's, but things were never the same again after she went all metal on me with that big fucking hair... But I do fondly recall the days we used to drive around with the windows down blasting this shit with the volume at 11. Good times, good times...
Which is the bear for you?
